I have been a programmer for about 15 years mostly working on the .NET stack and SQL Server. I dabble in Python and co-organize the Tucson Python Meetup. I am involved in Software Carpentry workshops and Arizona RezBaz, which we are getting started this year. I like teaching and helping people learn about programming and technology.
I am also a Ham and was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Oro Valley Amateur Radio Club. I haven't done very much in radio other than volunteer at events like Field Day and the Ham Fest, but I have plans to setup a node in the Tucson broadband ham network and I have a strong interest in mesh networks, software defined radio, and low power radio. I hope to blog about those kinds of topics, too.
